Set along one of Hagley’s most desirable roads, this beautiful home in the DY9 area has been completely reimagined, from a 1970s property into a bright, modern space built for family life.
From the very start, our team worked alongside the homeowner and their architect to make glazing a key part of the design. The goal was simple: maximise natural light, open up the living spaces, and create a home that feels as good as it looks.
We were involved in every stage of this renovation, supplying and installing a complete set of glazing solutions. From the striking gable feature at the entrance to the wide aluminium bifold doors leading to the garden, every detail was chosen to enhance light and space.
All the glazing was finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, a timeless, elegant shade that ties the whole home together and complements its contemporary interior design.
One of the standout features of this project is the Smarts architectural Aluminium bifold doors, which open up the rear of the home to the garden. They’re sleek, strong, and perform brilliantly all year round, while giving the homeowners a seamless indoor–outdoor living space.
Above the entrance, the feature gable window makes a real statement. It floods the hallway with natural light and sets the tone for the rest of the property; airy, modern, and full of character.
The front of the home is defined by its Solidor composite double door entrance, framed by the large gable window. It gives the property a bold, architectural look while offering excellent security and energy performance. The entrance feels grand yet inviting, exactly what the client envisioned.
For the windows, we installed Residence Collection 7 flush UPVC windows. They’re among the highest-performing systems on the market, combining classic proportions with modern performance.
They help keep the home warm, quiet, and secure, and their clean lines and flush finish blend perfectly with the home’s modern design.
We were brought into the project early, collaborating closely with the architect and main contractor. This early involvement meant glazing could be built into the design from the start, not added later.
By working as part of the wider project team, we made sure every installation went smoothly, fitting precisely around the build schedule and design details.
