The homeowners, who had lived in a charming period property for many years, wanted something completely different, a modern architectural bungalow built in their garden that reflected their lifestyle today.
Their goal was to create a home that was light-filled, energy-efficient, and beautifully crafted. A place that felt modern but warm, sleek but still connected to nature. And that’s exactly what this project achieved.
We were delighted to be involved right from the very start of this project. Working alongside a specialist contracting team and the architect, we helped shape every detail of the glazing design, from the choice of materials to the way natural light would move through the space.
This early collaboration was key. By understanding the homeowner’s vision and the architect’s design intent, we were able to deliver a glazing package that truly complemented the home, both aesthetically and practically.

One of the standout moments of this project is the RK Pivot Door, a show-stopping entrance that immediately draws the eye. Finished in matt textured black and paired with an antique bronze feature handle, it sets the tone for the rest of the property.

Throughout the home, we used Origin Aluminium and Smart's Architectural Aluminium systems finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, a timeless shade that perfectly complements the property’s modern design.
The deep, rich tone contrasts beautifully with the crisp white render and the natural stone cladding, creating a sophisticated, cohesive finish. It’s a colour that feels both contemporary and enduring, tying the whole project together effortlessly.
